Established in 2015, La Cosecha provides members of our community in need with groceries and other essential items on a weekly basis. An average family of four receives a week's worth of food at each disbursement. Additionally, La Cosecha stocks a clothing and furniture pantry. Recently, La Cosecha was gifted the opportunity to provide financial assistance to our undocumented clients through a partnership with the Tulsa Immigrant Relief Fund. Prior to the pandemic, La Cosecha served approximately 400 families a week, no questions asked. The need for assistance has doubled since the last week of March. Today, our volunteer team serves an average of 2,000 families per week.
We have been able to see what our community can do when it works together!
To empower members of our community with the resources to restore their dignity and stability. We achieve this by helping them at their lowest, and providing the tools and training to improve their way of living and teaching them to give back when they are restored.
